IN A NUTSHELL

I am very passionate about what I do. I am a fast learner and one of the best things I took with me from my time at the Technion is the autodidact toolbox that better allows me to learn things on my own. I have endless patience and when I go into things, I like to dive in and explore it thoroughly. I’m a great team player and people seem to like me though knowing I won’t let go until I’m fully satisfied with the end result. I demand excellence from others but mostly from myself. I am a critical thinker, well organized and very detail oriented.

Really Get to Know Me

Born and raised in Haifa, Israel. From early age I was encouraged by my family to explore different interests and widen my intellectual and cultural horizons as much as I can. Given the opportunity, I discovered, among others, the beauty of literature, the wonders of music, but above all I fell in love with the fulfilling emotion of capturing beauty, creating and expressing myself through visual media and art.

As the years went by, I was fortunate enough to attend high school in Chicago, Illinois, United States, taking part in its'  Visual Arts Program, where I was provided with both the academic framework as well as the technical tools to elevate my art skills to a higher level. Living abroad as a teenager, at such a significant time in life, helped shape my character and made me more open-minded and perceptive, upped my adjustment and social skills, and of course gave me the gift of the almost-native-tongue level of English.

After graduating high school, I then moved back to Israel and joined the IDF, serving as a Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) and Assistant Head of the Europe Branch at the Liaison and Foreign Relations Department (LFRD); Honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant.

Next, I decided to combine my great love of the arts with my practical thinking and got accepted to the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning at the Technion – Israel’s leading technology institute. I successfully graduated and earned my Bachelor of Science in Architecture diploma (B.Sc.).

It was during my student years that I realized what interests me most is the human-environment interface. I wanted to further explore the interactions between people, as end users, to their sense of place, whether in the physical sphere or the virtual one. To deepen my knowledge and further explore the world of HCI, I partook in a User Experience Design certification course, held by one of Israel’s leading experts in the field, and graduated with a diploma as a UX Designer from the Open University.

In recent years, alongside my studies, I started offering my freelance services in UX/UI, graphic design, branding, marketing communication etc. My main objective is helping people convey their message in the best possible way, using proper research, critical thinking and thought through design.
