parentapp

Background
Challenges & Target

Conceptual project.
Assignment
Conceptualize and create an app in whatever desired subject for both web and mobile.
My Role
UX designer.
Ideation, user research, interaction, wireframing, visual design and prototyping.
The Project
The idea of this app was to help overloaded parents with their everyday life with kids by:
-
Organizing their tasks and calendars
-
Creating a customized, rich library of personalized data for them and their children
-
Sorting & collecting relevant videos, podcasts, ideas, activities, recommendations and even recipes for them
-
Establishing a space for them to form a community along with other parents & a place to feel safe to unload and share their struggles
-
Building a family album of memories, pictures, moments, quotes and more
The main challenge was to create an app that will be helpful and act as important information and knowledge source all while not discouraging a parent or making them feel like they're not doing enough.
For that reason, I chose to make the app so that the parent sets his/her own goals with their kid and decides what to put the emphasis on. Also, the app is very personalized and keeps updating itself and learning the user's preferences and behavior.
The target was to allow the parent to have a center to which he/she can turn to when not sure about something, looking for a different solution or even when seeking support from other people in the same situation.

In addition, it was important for me to create a safe environment, both technically (sensitive data) and mentally (very personal and emotional).
2
workout app

Background
Conceptual project.
Assignment
Conceptualize, research users' needs and create an app that connects to a smart workout watch.
My Role
UX designer.
Background, technical and user research, interaction, wireframing, visual design and prototyping.
The Project
Smart app that interfaces with a workout watch. Enables the user to upload and download data such as recent workout session data, running routes, music, sleep logs etc.
The app wishes to encourage healthy habits in a fun, game-like, manner so that the user feels motivated instead of deflated by data and numbers they seek to avoid. The app allows the user to view and keep track of all information they see relevant to their needs.
The app also gives the user a platform for creating their own workout community with features like planning a joint workout, sharing pictures of your favorite views from the running track, trying out other community member's recommended session spots and more.

vet clinic app
Background
Commercial project.
My Role
UX designer.
Background and user research, field comparison, interaction, wireframing, visual design and prototyping.
The Project
Commercial app for a veterinarian clinic; the app was created both for attracting new clientele and for existing clients' use.

The app allows the user to contact the clinic, schedule appointments, read about the offered treatments and team members, read recommendations from other clients, connect on social media and more.

My main objective for this project was to create a comfortable and familiar, easy-to-use, app that will make users feel welcomed and a part of the family.
